ThunderWar is a low-poly tank combat game that runs right in your browser. Choose the United States or the Soviet Union, take command of a tank, and fight for control of Valley Village, a small European town surrounded by forests, farmland and mountains.

Every battle earns you Scrap and Intel. Spend Intel to research new vehicles in the tech tree, and Scrap to buy them, repair them and fit them with upgrades. Work your way from the light tanks of the early war, like the M2 and BT-7, all the way up to the M60 Patton and T-54.

Combat is about more than health bars. Shells punch through armor and damage whatever is inside: engines catch fire, tracks snap, crew get knocked out, and a hit to the ammo rack can end a fight in an instant. The hit camera shows you exactly what each shot did, so you learn where to aim on every tank. Get immobilized or set on fire, and you will have to decide whether to stop and repair or keep fighting.
